Cabling can be routed from all four directions; during installation, an opening is cut out on the relevant edge using pliers. Installation strips measuring 10 x 10 mm or smaller can be inserted directly into the pad, thus aesthetically concealing their ends. The cabling can be secured inside the pad with straps to prevent it from being torn out. The pad simply snaps onto the keyboard mounting base and the whole unit is attached to the wall. 

Note: With this method of installation, the keyboard does not meet the declared security grade according to EN50131.

Surface mounting plate for JA-116E and JA-156E

The plate allows bus or power cabling to be routed along the surface of the wall using a rail, pipe, or clips. 
The keypad can thus be installed in any location without the need for special construction work such as an installation box or recessed cabling.
