The detector can simply be placed behind an appliance or in another at-risk location. Four detection pins evaluate the presence of water on all edges of the detector.
It is also possible to install the detector on a wall. The included adhesive magnetic holder allows for quick installation without drilling into tiles and allows easy removal of the detector, for example, during cleaning or battery replacement. The elegant design of the product fits perfectly, even in visible locations, such as under a washbasin cabinet.
Warning: Despite maximum sealing, the product is not intended for permanent immersion. In the case of substantial flooding of the detector during an emergency, it must be opened, the batteries removed, and thoroughly dried before further use to prevent oxidation of the electronics.

Wireless flood detector

A wireless detector for emergency water leak detection can help prevent considerable damage in cases where a hose, seal, or another component of the water system or a connected appliance fails. The detector triggers an alarm at the very onset of a leak, allowing users to respond immediately. If the security system is connected to the main water shut-off valve, the system can automatically turn off the water in the event of an alarm, protecting the property even if nobody is home.
