Improved dialogs and bug fixes
F-Link 3.0.8 delivers a redesigned firmware update dialog and three usability improvements to the FDB password dialog — a direct response to the feedback you've shared with us.
These improvements are complemented by fixes for keypad texts on JA-115E and JA-155E, JA-151R, the Grade 3 obstruction, and PDF export.
What's new?
FW update dialog — redesigned UX
- The peripheral selection dialog has been moved as a sub-menu directly into the main update dialog — one fewer step before starting an update.
- "All" and "None" buttons allow bulk selection or deselection of peripherals in a single click.
- A new info button displays a legend of status icons (success, error, current FW, forced update, cannot update, in progress, low battery).
FDB password dialog — three improvements
- The password entry dialog now shows the full path to the file being opened — you always know which database you are unlocking.
- A "Show password" checkbox lets you verify the password before confirming.
- In the random password generation dialog, a new button copies the password to the clipboard.
PCO backup channel
- The "Report error after [s]" parameter is now editable for backup PCO channels using IP SIA protocol with ATS category set to "none".
What's fixed?
JA-115E and JA-155E — keypad texts
- On JA-115E and JA-155E keypads (including the NFC versions), segment names and other texts were not written to the peripheral after saving. Fixed.
JA-151R internal setup
- Saving the internal setup of JA-151R failed on the second save due to a collision. Fixed — the setup now saves correctly regardless of firmware version.
- The "JA-18x peripherals support" value is now written correctly; the default changes starting with FW OH6021.32.003.
Grade 3 — repeated obstruction
- JA-114E, JA-154E and panels JA-103K / JA-107K / JA-108K showed a repeated "Settings do not match the selected profile" obstruction when leaving service mode in Grade 2 / Grade 3. Fixed.
Parameters tab PDF export
- Exporting the "Parameters" tab to PDF produced only an empty document with a header. Fixed — all content is now exported; when GR3 is enabled, the "Extended settings" tab is also exported.
Crash when saving database with diacritics in notes
- If a note contained diacritical or special characters near the length limit, F-Link crashed on save. Fixed.
