Enter a higher league: Grade 3 is the way to new contracts

Content

We are introducing new JABLOTRON products certified for security Grade 3 (against attacks by experienced thieves). Thanks to them, installation partners can now apply for contracts they could not reach before. Where is it necessary to install Grade 3 security? How do you evaluate the risks of a building? Read more in this article.

Security standards are constantly rising. Insurance companies demand a higher level of protection, so the requirements for electronic security systems are also increasing. JABLOTRON meets this demand. From June 2026, we are expanding the JABLOTRON 100+ ecosystem with products certified for security Grade 3 (according to the EN 50131 standard).

In this way, JABLOTRON installation partners can win new lucrative contracts. This includes the commercial sector (typically offices), institutions (schools, authorities), but especially locations with a higher risk of sophisticated theft.

New opportunities to grow your business

With JABLOTRON entering this new segment, you get the key to previously unavailable markets. Insurance companies require a higher grade of protection where standard alarms are not enough:

  • jewellery shops and galleries,
  • currency exchange offices,
  • medicine and chemical warehouses,
  • weapon stores,
  • archives and post offices,
  • server rooms,
  • vault rooms,
  • and many others.

What does Grade 3 offer compared to lower grades?

The JABLOTRON system with Grade 3 security brings higher protection against attacks by experienced thieves who have knowledge of alarms and use special tools. It also features enhanced protection against "inside" sabotage.

And how exactly is Grade 3 better than Grade 1 and 2?

The basis of the system is the A-108K control panel with an integrated LAN communicator (based on the proven JA-107K).

  • Basic parameters: 230 devices, 15 sections, 600 users
  • More robust design and improved protection against sabotage
  • Service via USB-C: You always have the cable ready at hand.
  • Powerful power supply: Fully powers the bus without external modules.
  • Backup: Up to 60 hours

The portfolio is completed by the following bus components:

Risk assessment: step-by-step to a safe design

For contracts with higher security requirements, it is necessary to follow a clear procedure: from a thorough risk analysis and correct classification to a flawless project design.

Site evaluation

  • Before designing the system, carry out a detailed site inspection.
  • Try to put yourself in the shoes of a clever intruder. Look for ways you would try to break into the building.
    • Identify quiet or hidden access points from public areas.
    • Do not forget to check the roof, as well as places where an intruder could hide while the system is unset.
    • Ask about local crime rates in the area.
  • Evaluate the layout of the building, access routes, and daily activity (how users actually use the premises).
  • Ideally, obtain a copy of the building documentation or basic floor plans.
  • Keep a record of all identified threats and specific requirements for dividing access into individual sections.

Classifying the building into a security grade

  • You must determine the appropriate risk level based on the value of the property, the location, and the conditions set by insurance companies.
  • High-value family houses and standard shops fall into Grade 2, while high-risk locations such as jewellery shops, server rooms, or medicine warehouses require an uncompromising Grade 3.

Professional solution design

  • Combine different types of protection – perimeter, space, and other types of protection.
  • Pay close attention to a vital rule: the control panel and control devices must always be located inside the protected area within the section with the highest security grade, and they must be protected by detectors with an immediate reaction.
  • The design must remain practical. The user needs to operate the system daily and without mistakes.

Let’s protect high-risk locations together

Grade 3 products represent a major competitive advantage for installation companies. Take this opportunity. Grow your business and offer your clients a higher level of security. You can find more details on the JABLOTRON portal.
